Re: New Picture, any comments?
flowers are lovely good light well balanced composition.
Train not so sure if you re shoot it maybe try a longer exposure to slightly motion blur the train.

Re: New Picture, any comments?
Hi Siegfried,
The flowershot is a nice one but there are some things that are bothering me:
- the heart of the most left flower isn't quite sharp
- two of the petals of the flower in middle are cropped
- there are some distracting shades across the flowers
The trainshot is a bit dark in the foreground and i agree with Simon motion blur from the train would give a more dynamic feel to the picture.
Best regards,
Rob

I agree with Simon and Rob that some slight motion in the train might have made it more interesting but the deepness of the shadows is what bothers me the most. Considering how much you have enjoyed HDR photos, this would have been perfect - aside from the train. Perhaps opening up the shadows a bit in post processing?
As far as the flowers - obviously you intended (I assume it was intentional) to use a shallow depth of field to emphasize the flower on the right. That's fine - though even that one is not really sharp, so the overall look is three not-so-sharp flowers. The shadows don't bother me in the least - gives a feeling of depth and contrast. I do agree with Rob about the middle flower having been cropped a little too close though.
(Well - you did ask???)

Hi Guys
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I did not really look at the flowers as you saw them Rob, great feedback thanks....
Guys....the train is a little different as I saw it. Its not the best shot to date agree, what bothered me most personally is that I did not fit the train properly in the frame. Agree movement on the train will be great...PSE needs to work here ;-) With regards the shades....recently I have a thing with natural contrasts and shades. So often we (HDR) remove natural shades and before you know it a picture looks cripple....what do you think?
Best
