Was at one of our local cemeteries taking photos of headstones, when I remembered that the cemetery that I was in was adjacent to an old Jewish charity cemetery. Last shot was with the Panasonic 20mm and the other three with the Lensbaby Composer and the new Fisheye optic.

Comments welcome,

EP1 + 14-42 + Fall in New York City

Shots taken around some parks in Staten Island. EP1 and the kit zoom for these.

I was shooting RAW+JPEG using the Pop Art filter. While I loved the look, I felt the perhaps (nah....) the Fall colors in the Pop Art shots were maybe a bit overdone. These were all developed in Lightroom. Only made some small adjustments to vibrance and contrast.

Opinions?

Thanks for looking,

Hi,

I was think of something interesting to post, before I grab my G7 and go for a walk/art gallery/photo afternoon.

While taking my morning constitutional and texting the wife, she is visiting her folks, I though I would try and take a interesting shot in the least interesting place, with a camera phone.

It came out OK but needed a little push to make it interesting enough to write something about and make it worth 2minutes of your time.

So in to PSE and Ctrl+J to make a new layer and ...

All shots with same setup, except first one was with the Soft Focus Art Filter and using the FL20 as fill outdoors.

Impressions: AF was fine outdoors and when the room lighting was decent.

Did tend to slow down a bit when it got dim and had some problems during some dancing when the lights were shifting and so were the people (but I expected that).

Still feel the flash exposure needs a little tweaking - too often get over exposed shots, where with any of my previous Oly 4/3 cameras ...

Hi Gang,

Just got back from two weeks RnR, south coast of England near Worthing.

Took a bag full of gear and didn't get to use it much, just didn't see much worth shooting. The weather was just too nice so I just read a book and let the wind tickle my toes.

I did get up early one morning and took a walk to the sea, but the sky was ordinary and so was the sea, slammed this in PSE to get a bit of colour.

Still it was about relaxing, but I would have like a few more photo ops. I took ...

Got a Hoya R72 filter. Used it on the EP1 with the 4/3 25mm.

ISO 6400 - noise filter set to low. Camera set to Monochrome w/Red Filter.

Imported into LR. First used Neat Image to reduce the noise a bit more. The made some minor tweaks in LR.

Any opinions or suggestions would be GRATEFULLY appreciated!!!

I have always been facinated with IR photography (Thank you Bootstrap) and wanted to try it myself.

Thanks for looking,

Wish I had my nifty fifty with me I could have used the f1.8, I was wide open with a tamron 28-300 at 70mm, 1/80sec, f5 and ISO 1600.

Still came out OK.

BTW this is two shots merged as I didn't have one shot where they were both looking towards each other.

Just for fun!

The original file was very dull and almost deleted so i decided to give it a "make over" in Photoshop just playing around (don't ask me to reproduce the way i did it). Is this to much? Or do you prefer the original? Or shall i delete both?

And the original:

This one has had some distortion control.

I know you can't see the Tower of London, I try not to do those shots.

During a short trip to Northern France we made a few nice walks. Travelling light the G9 proved an ideal companion again. In the middle of a forest we met this guy.

Luckely this snake-like creature (it isn't a real snake, size about 35 cm) lives upon his name, the headshot was made using the "in camera" macro mode at a distance of just a few cm's. (Don't try this with real snakes!) Normally i don't like the wide angle macro mode and use a work around for this but know it was quite ...

So I took some snaps but I wasn't getting what I wanted because I couldn't get the whole of the building in the shot and there was no way to move back as it was a narrow street. So the answer was shoot a mosaic and stitch in post.
