I had the 14 - 54 lens fitted, the E3 was on manual mode plus the internal noise filters set to off. I edited the pics with CS4. I am more than happy...

Reading the very interesting feedback Steve is kindly giving us on the site plus looking at the review of both the Panny G1/GH1 plus the new EP1 from Oly, I just cannot help thinking....should I sell all my SLR equipment and 100% go for the new format?

Please do not misunderstand me, I am not saying the new m4/3 standard will replace the SLR as we know it....!!! What I do think is that we could expect to see a drastically different looking "entry level (up too D90/50D)" type market ...

Just got my grubby hands on the 17mm Pancake for the EP1. (Found someone on Ebay who had gotten two and was selling one of them after only using it for a few days.)

I have the 25mm Pancake and thought that that was small/light. The 17 barely adds any size or weight to the EP1. (Amazing what you can do with plastic!)

Have not really had a chance to play with it yet. Want to do some comparisons between the kit zoom and the 17 with regards to IQ and AF speeds and see if I agree with some other ...

I just picked up the EP1 this afternoon at Adorama in NYC. (Had to also walk to Willoughby's about 15 blocks away to get the 4/3 lens adapter because Adorama did not get theirs in yet and Willoughby's had one left.)

Initial Impressions:

(1) When I took the camera out of the box I said "Wow - this is heavier than I expected". However, after walking around with it for about an hour later on I realized how much lighter it was than even the E420 that I had. Build quality of the ...

Recently I have been cycling a lot with my LX3 hanging round my neck, ready for action. The problem with this great little cam is I just cannot frame my pictures. I became so used to using the view finders on my SLR camera's that I find it really frustrating not having one on the LX3.....

The point is....on the LX3 price point plus technology I can sort off accept it.....with the future PEN from Olympus......well I will just not get one.....

I really agree with other posters that by excluding ...
