Strap how I do mine.
This is an old way of doing your strap so I can't claim the idea for my own, but as I was changing my old strap for a new one I thought this might be of use?
I hope you can see that I have tucked the lead end of the strap through the buckle so it returns towards the camera instead of pointing back up to the neck, once this is pulled up tight you have a much neater finish for your strap, it looks much better on the G7/9/10 small size strap. I think it holds better as well. (can't get the images to embed, you will have to click the links sorry)

Re: Strap how I do mine.
Simon,
Thanks for the idea!
It looks like a safer way to attach the strap to a camera.
Best regards,
Rob

The way I like to use my strap...
I use the two, one for walk around and the other when required. Oft I only have the hand strip and other times, when doing portrait work for example, I like to add the neck strap as well.... I like the fact that I now have the choice....

Just for interesting sake....if this works, I selected the link and then copied it. Thereafter I pasted in in this field.

Re: Strap how I do mine.
Hi Siegfried,
Be careful with these clip-on type attachments between your camera and strap. I had these ones in the past on my Pentax strap and all of a sudden one broke at the part that is rotating around the pin. Luckely i was young those days and was reacting that quick that i could catch my slipping camera (the strap was hanging on my shoulder and i noticed the pressure on my shoulder was gone) before it hit the ground.
Best regards,
Rob
