Fenix LED flashlight

I always carry a small light that is very handy for camera setups on those early mornings or late evenings. I have used a multitude of small penlights over the years and just recently a friend sent my one of these New Fenix E01 models. It takes only one AAA battery and puts out plenty of light for setting up camera controls or even walking a decent trail. It is just a tiny bit larger than the battery itself, waterproof, light weight and well made.
At about $15 it is a bargain too.

I did buy a month ago the Led lenser. They say that you can see the light from 30 km far away! Since it is nearly daylight I am going to do some test to use it as a spot light in close up photography.

Re: Fenix LED flashlight
That one is much brighter than this little Fenix. It looks like neat spot light on that rocket.
Back in my film days I used to do light painting on foreground objects with an incandescent flashlight. Say rocks on the shore of a lake at sunset....sometimes this really turned out nice. Sometimes not. I need to try that again with digital and see how it looks. I have noticed that most white LED lights are quite blue in images rather than the nice yellow of tungsten bulbs. That Lenser seems nicely white though.
