E30 and older 40-150 Shoots Concert

Yes I would still like to get my little grubby hands on the 50-200 SWD lens, but I still get very impressed with the older version of the 40-150 f3.5-4.5. These were taken with the TC1.4 added and the quality is still great.
Thanks for looking, Steve

They absolutely great in terms of clarity, detail, picture quality. With no doubt the the E30 is capable of allowing almost total freedom.
I also like the pictures Steve, each has a story to tell...well done.
If I could handle the 50 - 200, it would have had its place in my bag long ago already. From what I have seen, it a must have I think.
Interesting, I just sold my 40 - 150 (older and newer version) I am so happy with the 18 - 180, its almost permanently on my camera. The 70 - 300 is also great....

Re: E30 and older 40-150 Shoots Concert
I do miss the 50-200. I sold it a while ago because I liked the size/weight better of the 40-150, though no question as to which is the better lens. If I did more of these concerts - certainly if the promoters would pay "cash" instead of better seats, etc. I would certainly invest in it.
I liked the 18-180, but I shot one concert with it in a small club and it is just a bit too slow (both aperture wise and focusing wise) to be used.
Thanks for the kind words.
Regards,
Steve
