Holocaust Memorial, Brooklyn, NY

In Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, where there has been a fairly heavy Jewish population for years (and more recently a lot of Russian immigrants) they put up a very touching memorial to the Holocaust victims of WWII.Spent some time there with the EP1 and the 40-150.
Comments welcome,
Steve
BTW - last shot was my first attempt at using the Multiple Exposure on the EP1. (Used it quite a bit on the E30.)

Lest we forget!
It was photographs and film that brought home the horrors of these camps and continue to remind us of where we have failed our fellow man from time to time.

Steve,
Your photos are somber reminders to be sure. It's one of those times when a photo is certainly more than just an image. I do like the third one quite a bit. At first I thought it was a reflection rather than a multiple exposure. It's interesting how some crucial words and phrases are highlighted in the "reflection." Good work!

Thanks Simon and Phil for your kind words.
My grandparents - and my wife's father and grandparents lived through those times personally. We have been to several memorials over the years, but this was my first viewing of the Brooklyn one.
