Re: 123di.com new upgrade available version 6
Thanks for the tip, Luc!
Even the free version is worth downloading - had the 5 (free) permanently on my desktop, will replace it with the new version.
It's always one of these things I recomend people to download and look at when they seem interested in learning a bit more about photography. It's comprehandable and revealing for most.

Very reliable site
Hi Paul
This is a very reliable site. Six months ago, I complained to them that they were not covering PSE7 neither Lightroom 2. They let me know that if I was ordering the version 5 that they would offer me a free update, that would cover them and guest they did it
To me they earn five stars in my heart.

123di.com v6
Hi Siegfried
I just had a quick look yesterday, and its so rich in detail, and it explains for instance clearly the difference in working RAW MODE between PSE 3,4,5,6,7 and Lightroom 1.4-2 or CS4. For instance it uses 385 pages to cover RAW mode for a total of nearly 5K pages altogether in photo-editing ,cameras, sensors, and monitor calibration, covering practically all versions of photoshop products. If you enjoyed V5 you will surely love V6. The only drawback, I see learning from this, is that its not as smooth as learning from a video like the ones made by Lynda.com for instance, but on the positive side its much cheaper . I see this product as a reference in photo-editing. Lightroom 1.4 and 2.0 have 184 pages to cover them. An initiation in Bridge covers 15 pages. I bought an educational version, and a 30% refund was transferred immediately to my Paypal account.
Its ashame that he is alone to give so much information for so little money. When you pay up to 17$cdn to buy a magazine that gives you only a few tricks and tutorials, you can only bless Vincent and its training software.
Happy reading
