New selfportrait.

Post by Simon.fairclough on Tue 22 Sep - 17:06:14

Taken at the Royal Academy of Arts, press lunch for the Anish Kapoor exhibition.
Great modren art and a first as the Academy has previously only had dead artists have such an exhibition.

Part of my camera phone set. Sonyericsson k750i
The great thing about a press launch is they let you clown around like this on the art works, where as this afternoon there will be guards stopping the public going so near.

yeah I wanted it over exposed.

This is a mirror box/block very cool refections you can see 4 works in this image.

Simon,

I enjoyed the photos, but I really like your over-exposed self-portrait. It certainly sparks the imagination. Good work!

How I did the first image.
Its a reflection in a shiny ball part of the sculpture.
Heres the piece in full view.

I am surprised how good these shots are from my phone. My phone's battery died and I have gone back to using my old sonyericsson K750i which has one of the best cameras ever put in a phone. Only 2MP but very sharp and has auto focus and a small flash unit you can attach. I have had much fun using it in the last few days as my D80 has gone to a friend, I will tell you about this in a week or so.
Please send any spare cash to a now much impoverished photog.
Sad Very Happy Question
