Well,This is not my kind of photography but i will give it a try.
I took this picture with my Canon Powershot G9 and the new EX 270 speedlite (nice little thing, fits very well on a G9 and is a alternative for the "missing" internal flash on my EOS 5DmkII)
Yes, this is me sitting at my desk at home handholding the G9, trying to aim it at myself and a bit of the surroundings.
Picture is almost straight out of the camera, only converted form RAW to JPG, non edited.

Very nice portrait but watch your background...
That's a very fine piece of equipment, much more effective than using a Stofen omni-bounce.

Like the soft box, its on my list of gear to get. are you using a trigger system or a cable to the speedlight?
