My E420 and I in Thun

Thun is one of those really special places in Switzerland to visit. One can think of it as the gateway to many well known spots and many very special photographic friendly spots. Special about Thun itself is the river plus the lakes that is part of this small city. That presents so many opportunities to the photographer.



In the above picture you see part of the city Thun plus one can see the caste at the back.



Here you have a view from the caste back onto the Thun Lake. In this direction is the well known Interlaken area.





The above picture shows part of the river going through Thun.





Here you can see the streets of the old town. This is not a HDR picture, I just edited it this way.



One more view of the river going through Thun. I used my 9 - 18 mm wide angle lens for this picture.

I really enjoyed your "tour" of Thun. We have never been to Switzerland - closest we will probably get in the near future is next spring my wife wants to return to Italy and hit the northern lakes region.
Your shots really captured the "flavor" of this lovely town.

Switzerland looks really nice. I think your last editing of pictures is a succes good colors and nice sharpening.

And the E-420 has always been good to deliver good colors. Do still have the E-420 in your line of cameras?

Thanks for the feedback Tom, yes I kept the E420, great camera and great match for the Oly lenses I have. The E420 will most prop grow old with me.....:-)
