Sunday afternoon stroll...
Today I did my normal walking route and with my camera in my hand I took a few pictures along the way. The area I live in is called the Emmental and its known for its people, its cheese and its hilly landscape. It has many famers, cows and as you would expect unique cheese factories.

The above pic is a typical farmhouse in the Emmental and in the winter months the cows will be in a special space below the living areas.

The above pic is just behind the farmhouse as I start to go up one of the Emmental hills. The little house is used to feed the cows when they out. Its fun to see these cows with their large bells round their necks. They very tame and react like house animals when the farmer calls them.

The above pic is a view over the village I live and in the far you can see the Alps. This summer I bought myself a e-bike and on two of my trips I basically cycled from my village to the Alps, a distance of approximately 40km.

Along the way I took this pic. Fitted to my cam I had a 8mm WA lens today. Its a tricky lens to work with and I am still getting used to the lens. A few times I though, let it go again, just to keep it and to try again...great piece of glass....

Personally I like the above pic the most. Took it on the way and I like the detail in the pic

Most striking at the moment is the awesome autumn colors. One can easily spend a whole day on the outside at the moment painting with leaves and light....

In the above pic I was on top of the hill and I was happy to find a three I could take like this. One can make lovely screensavers with threes like this at the moment. Take a normal zoom, when the sun is playing in the leaves frame a good looking part including three, leaves and blue skies. The end effect is a great looking screensaver....
Hope you enjoyed the walk...that was a kilo worth....
